Description

Lamahatta is a new tourist destination by West Bengal Tourism in North Bengal. It is located at 2077 meters above sea level and at the latitude of 22.57 degree and Longitude at 88.36 degree. Lamhata is a village of Rangli Rangliot block at Darjeeling district. It belongs to Jalpaiguri Division and is situated towards East from District Head Quarters Darjeeling.It is surrounded by Sumbuk block towards South, Darjeeling Pulbazar Block towards West, Jorethang block towards North and Kalimpong block towards East. This place is the border of Darjeeling district. It is near to the Sikkim State Border. It is now an upcoming eco-tourism destination.

Lamahatta is very well connected to Darjeeling and Kalimpong by road. Nearest railway station is Darjeeling Railway Station.
